Touring the Pacific Northwest Colleges, I was able to take a catbird seat on the cliffs of the University of Portland overlooking the Williamette River, the Swamp Island Basin, and the Vigor Shipbuilding and Repair docks. Â I applied a tilt-shift effect to these photos, giving the sense of a miniature world of busy dockyard activity.Â
